One of the founding members and Managing Director, Bernie Johnson, has over 25 years’ experience in the crane, construction, oil and gas and mining industries. He commenced his Pilbara crane career in 1995 at Brambles Industrial Services (BIS) as the regional Northwest Operations Manager in Port Hedland. Mr Johnson then took up the position of Northwest Operations Manager with Boom Logistics from 2004 until January 2008. Norwest Crane Hire Pty Ltd was then founded in partnership with his long-time partner Toni Jessop.
Adrian Wilkes – Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer Adrian Wilkes has 24 Years’ experience in the Mining Services and Oil & Gas industries across Australia and Asia. Adrian has previously held Senior Management positions with Cranecorp Australia, DrillCorp Asia, Woodside and Sainsbury’s before commencing in his current role as Chief Operating Officer for the Norwest Group in 2019. Adrian completed a Bachelor of Business degree at Edith Cowan University and is an experienced Accountant and General Manager. Adrian is a current Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Kelvin Moore – Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer Kelvin Moore is a financial and commercial executive with more than 20 years’ experience with both public and privately owned, national and international companies. Kelvin’s CFO/Financial leadership career is highlighted by the delivery of critical accounting information to strengthen operational management and the development and support ERP systems in both hands-on and functional team environments. Kelvin’s experience in capital intensive operations is specific to mining services, EPCM construction and asset management/equipment hire industries. Kelvin completed a Bachelor of Business degree at Edith Cowan University and is also a member of CPA Australia.
